SAIA – Call for Entry
For the sixth time, the SAIA will take place on the occasion of the Fantoche Industry Day and provide a showcase and platform for animated Swiss commercial and commissioned films. A jury of experts will screen and evaluate the films received, curate a shortlist and select a worthy winning film. The SAIA - Swiss Animation Industry Award will be presented in collaboration with our partner Swissfilm Association and will take place on Friday, 8 September 2023, following the Fantoche Industry Day. The winner will receive the trophy and a free submission to Edi.23 at the award ceremony.

The deadline for submission is 30 June 2023.

The number of works that can be submitted and their duration are not limited

All commissioned productions completed after 30 June 2022 and with a significant Swiss contribution (Swiss production company, execution in Switzerland) are eligible.

Submission is free of charge and takes place via Filmfreeway

A jury of experts will select a winning film, which will receive a free submission to Edi.23 and a trophy.

The award will be presented at an award ceremony during the SAIA - Swiss Animation Industry Award on 8 September 2023.
