Films for Kids
THEY MIGHT BE SMALL
BUT THEY KNOW WHAT THEY LIKE
Needless to say, we also cater for the youngest and smallest fans of animated film here at Fantoche. We will be showing the latest animated short films for children in two programmes in collaboration with the children's film club “Die Zauberlaterne”. This year for the second time there will be a children's jury, who will critically judge the films and choose the best one for kids. There will also be an audience vote in which every child can take part. This is because our youngest guests' opinions are particularly important to us. Recommended to adults too!
And while we're talking about having a go, this year we will also be presenting the results of our animation workshops for kids and teenagers and can't wait to unveil the fledgling directors to the public.

Animated films are by no means child’s play, yet they make an ideal playground in which to take those first creative steps. Fantoche presents animated cartoons made by children and teenagers, developed from first efforts in Fantoche workshops led by filmmaker Anka Schmid.
